Goal

Hello everyone, My name is Karan Vishwakarma and I am a graduate student in University of Illinois at Chicago. I completed my bachelors from IET,DAVV Indore. I am passionate about technology and started programming at the age of 13. Fascinated by the fact how some line of code can make such great things kept my interest. I have done several Android and web development projects using various programming languages.

My skill set includes Java, Python, Django, JDBC, SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Android Application Programming, SQLite, PHP, CSS, Operating System, Computer Networking Apart from technical skills, I am a self-taught guitarist and an artist. Technologies used:. Java, SQLite, Android Studios, XML, SharedPreferences, Google AdMob Description: An Android application (available on Play Store) that allows users to take notes and store data, integrated with speech to text recognition.

  • Designed and implemented user interface with speech-to-text functionality enabling users to take notes through voice input.
  • Integrated Google AdMob to provide a platform to serve Ads and increase user engagement.
  • Persisted user data in the SQLite database and leveraged SharedPreferences for faster results & efficient data loading.

Stock Price Prediction using Twitter sentiment Analysis

  • Designed user interface using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap with the open-source tools of Bootstrap.
  • Integrated Support Vector Machine with TF – IDF algorithm for efficient classification of the dataset.
  • Utilized Jupyter Notebook to perform preliminary analysis and better visualization of data using Matplotlib library.
